We couldn’t be more excited about the 2023 glamping season ahead here at Surrey Lakes Glamping.
We’ve been working hard over this winter to make improvements that will enhance your experience and bring you even closer to nature. Our mission to remain the top ranked glamping site in the South of England by Google Reviews continues!
Here is a sneak peak of just some of the things we’ve been working on to make our site extra special and enjoyable for past and future guests alike.
The Brook Bells
Remaining true to the spirit of our Brook Bells, the Bell tents are still as close to nature as ever albeit with a makeover that turns them in to “Twin Bell” spaces with two conjoined Bell tents, one of which can be used as a living space or as two separate bedrooms. Expect some upgrades to their exterior spaces also.
New Woodland Pathways
A new set of weaving, woodland pathways will take you on a journey through the lush, local forests enabling you to feel closer to the plants, birds, trees and streams that occupy these magical woodlands.
New Freshwater Plunge
A much requested freshwater plunge that is going in downstream from the lake you see in the picture.
Planting & Regeneration
The woodland regeneration scheme continues with the planting of even more Gunnera, a new range of wild flower banks, 8 new trees in the baby Arboretum, and the placement of a series of Owl boxes and kingfisher hides in the Forest of Boland.
Comfort & Ease for Families
Surrey Lakes Glamping is so popular among families and we want to keep it a place where kids can run wild and free and experience nature first hand. Ensuring we help keep things smooth behind the scenes for the amazing parents that make these holidays possible for their families is a top priority! As well as new and exciting upgrades to the pitches intended to create an even more comfortable camping experience, we are streamlining our check-in and departure processes to make them as hassle free as possible.
