When does the 2023 season start?
May 15th with many exciting new changes!
What’s the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 30 days in advance. Deposit of 25% retained for cancellations between 15-30 days in advance. Full payment is required for cancellations less than 14 days in advance.
What time is check-in/check-out?
Check in 3pm onwards. Check out of rooms by 11am but feel free to stay onsite until 3pm.
What are your check-in days?
Sun, Wed, Fri are our changeover / check-in days. Be sure to select a Sun, Wed, Fri in the calendar when booking online.
What’s the cooking situation?
Each tent is equipped with its own BBQ for all your cooking. We provide all cooking and BBQ utensils as well as crockery. Feel free to bring extra flasks or special drinking glasses if you want. There is one large and one small fridge with a couple of freezer drawers for your food.
Do I need to bring my own coals or firewood?
We provide firewood at £20 per basket and you can pick up your own coals, otherwise we can provide at £15 per bag.
Are the lakes swimmable?
Unfortunately swimming isn’t possible in the lakes. They are not properly dredged at the moment, we are working on it!
What are the loos like?
We have normal flushing loos that you’re used to. They are in the loo block which us on wheels and a short distance from the tents.
What are the showers like?
We have hot running water showers in a communal shower block.
What spaces are available to customers besides the tents?
There is a rustic converted farm building the serves as the communal space. There are tables and chairs here and it’s where the kitchenette, charging area, coffee machine and fridges are. Each tent has it’s own outdoor seating area. There is also, a hut in the woods overlooking the lake.
Where can I park?
There is a private on-site car park, a short (40 metre) walk from the tents.
Is there a noise curfew?
There is a strict noise curfew at 10:30pm to accommodate our lovely neighbours! We are a quiet site.
Is there electricity/charging points?
There is an electrical charging station in the communal area for phones/laptops but no electricity in tents. The electrical area also has a large fridge, freezer, Nespresso machine and kettle.
Is there Wifi?
Yes, there is high speed Wifi across the site.
Do we need to bring torches?
There is a big torch provided in each tent, but do bring extra torches if you have them.
Do I get refunded if Covid rules mean the booking can’t happen?
Yes, we are providing 100% refunds in the case of the Government shutting down the hospitality sector again, for your peace of mind. However, if you personally get Covid we are unable to refund.
Can I book the full site?
Please enquire about booking the full site via Whatsapp and we will send you through our options.
Can I bring an extra tent to pitch?
Sadly not 🙁
Do you charge per person, or per tent?
The quoted prices are “per tent” and they include 2 people. Additional people cost 40 GBP per person. Infants are FOC. The tents fit up to 4 people in total.
Can I bring dogs?
Well-behaved dogs are permitted for an extra fee of £30 GBP.
